The Greener Cleaner started twelve years ago when I was pregnant with our daughter, Hannah. At the time my husband Mike had a traditional carpet cleaning company. For the first time in my life, I started to question the ingredients of everything that came into our home since I would soon have a little one of my own. I did a lot of research on what was actually in traditional carpet cleaning chemicals and did not like what I found! VOC’s, pesticides, and synthetic fragrances were not ingredients that we wanted in our home with a little one on the way, so we made some big changes and became Michigan’s first non-toxic carpet and upholstery cleaning company!
Today, we make our cleaning solutions by hand in small batches. Our solutions are completely non - toxic and safe for little ones and pets, made of food grade ingredients, and are even cruelty free. We are family owned and operated, and we take pride in our customer service. We’ve even become Michigan’s top rated carpet cleaning company over the years and have been featured on every news station in Metro Detroit!
